Every visit begins with a careful examination of your ears. From there I select the method, or combination of methods, that is safest and most comfortable for you.
A precise, water-free technique that uses gentle, low-pressure suction under magnification to lift wax away from the ear canal. Comfortable, controlled, and widely regarded as one of the safest methods available.
A controlled flow of warm water gently flushes softened wax from the ear canal. An effective, time-honoured approach when wax has been prepared with softening drops beforehand.
A small, purpose-designed instrument used under direct vision to carefully remove wax close to the canal opening. Often used to finish or complement the other methods for a thorough result.

By appointment only. As a sole trader who also teaches part time on the Diploma of Audiometry, my schedule is limited and I take bookings personally. An appointment is not confirmed until I have accepted the time with you directly. I offer after-hours and weekend visits, with no set days at this stage.

I'm the Clinical Audiometrist behind WaxWorks Central Coast, and I've spent more than fifteen years caring for people's ears and hearing. I hold Full Membership status with ACAud inc HAASA, the professional body for the audiometry profession.
After many years working in commercial clinics and running my own private practice in adult hearing rehabilitation, I made the decision to dedicate my work entirely to safe, professional ear wax removal, bringing the care directly to you in the comfort of your own home.
I also teach part time on the Diploma of Audiometry, which keeps my practice current, evidence based, and grounded in best practice. My promise to every client is simple. You will receive unhurried, careful, professional care, with everything explained clearly along the way.
